Pragati is Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) scheme being implemented by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) aim at provides financial assistance for Girls students pursuing any technical courses in AICTE approved institutes.

  • Pragati Scholarship Scheme Details: Pragati scholarship scheme is to provide financial support to girl child to continue technical education.
  • Number of Scholarship: Four Thousand (4000) 2000 scholarship for degree students and remaining 2000 for diploma students.
    Eligibility Criteria for Pragati Scholarship 2021-22:
  1. Only 2 Girl Child’s can apply from the same family
  2. Whose parent’s annual income should not be more than eight lakh rupees
  3. The selection will be made strictly on merit basis
  4. 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 27% for OBC students

Scholarship Amount:

  • Rs.30,000/- for tuition fee every year
  • Incidentals charges of Rs.2000/- pm (10 months)

Interested and eligible students who have taken technical courses in All India Council for Technical Education institutions can now apply Pragati scholarship online from AICTE official portal www.aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in.
