About Begumpet
Begumpet is one of the major commercial and residential area in Secunderabad located to the north of Hussain Sagar lake. It is popularly known for Begumpet Old Airport, which is now closed after the inauguration of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad, Hyderabad. Now the Airport is only operational for chartered flights, VIP visits and training purpose.
