The Covid-19- a global pandemic has taken charge all over the world. As much as it looks fierce, India is leading the way. India successfully became the first country to report more than 90k cases in a single day without a stop. Telangana has also managed to report more than 5k cases in a single day.
Hyderabad has seen a sparkling rise in COVID cases in the past 6 months and the residents have been sent into a frenzy. However, the Telangana Government has to be applauded for its incredible yet careful management of the situation.
The Government has provided a list of hospitals, both the government as well as private hospitals that treat the COVID patients. These hospitals are spread all across the city and have been doing an incredible job while managing the COVID as well as non-COVID patients. There have been strict guidelines issued to hospitals with regard to providing the right treatment to every patient.
The number of Covid-19 cases in Hyderabad has been rising over the past couple of weeks and the people must be ready to handle everything in such a situation. Apart from this, considering the rising cases even in seasonal diseases, swine flu, the Health Department has introduced with an established medical intervention protocol for people suffering from these and other influenza/flu-like illnesses. For the people’s comfort, you can now go to specific and designated hospitals based on one’s medical condition and symptoms.
In simple words and with examples for better understanding, if one is suffering from breathlessness and suspects being affected by Covid-19, they can go to Osmania General Hospital for emergency intervention. Otherwise, if one is symptomatic, with severe but not going through emergent conditions, they have to head towards the King Koti Hospital or the government ENT Hospital.
Apart from that, if a person has already tested positive for Covid-19 and is experiencing moderate to severe symptoms, they can head to Gandhi Hospital. The Koti Maternity Hospital and OGH are just holding areas for suspected cases, if a person tests positive after being admitted at either of these two hospitals, they would be shifted to Gandhi for further care.
