Hyderabad: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, ‘SHE’ Teams of Hyderabad City Police and Telangana CID are coming together to empower women and girls with knowledge of their legal rights and duties. They are also aiming at enabling women to take care of themselves by being aware of the self-defense techniques.
Women Protection Cell is a specialized investigating agency of CID for petitioners seeking redressal of their grievances in crime against women. SHE Teams are playing a key role in deterring eve-teasers and empowering women of all ages to speak out against any sort of harassment.
SHE teams were doing an exceptional job in promoting and maintaining safety of women in Telangana State.On March 13, some 2,000 women will take part in the celebrations at People’s Plaza on the Necklace Road.
