NHFDC Scholarship Scheme provided by the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation for Differently Abled Students is an initiative to promote the differently abled students in education.

– Eligibility Criteria for NHFDC Scholarship 2021-22:
| 1. | Financial supports will be provide to complete degree and PG level professional and technical level courses from any recognized institutes. |
| 2. | Maintenance allowances, books allowances and award for purchase of adaptive devices will be credited directly into the scholarship holder account. |
| 3. | Scholarship grant will be given for only one particular course at a time. |
| 4. | Candidates who admitted to pursue technical or professional level courses on the basis of a competitive exam will be eligible for NHFDC scholarship. |
| 5. | Students who admitted to without writing competitive exam will also be eligible for NHFDC scholarship. But the students must secure at least 50% marks at graduation level. |
| 6. | Selection will be done strictly merit-based. |
| 7. | In case of girls she must secure minimum 45% marks at graduation level. |
| 8. | Correspondence students are also eligible for the national scholarship. |
| 9. | A student who was awarded scholarship for a single course after the completion of that course he/she will be eligible to apply for another course too. But they are not eligible for a same course. |
| 10. | The beneficiary under this scholarship scheme shall not avail any other stipend from any other source to purse the same course. |
| 11. | The annual income of the parents should not be more than 3.00 lakh rupees from all sources. |
| 12. | A scholarship shall be cancelled if the students changes the subject or the Institution. |
| 13. | The scholarship award will not be given for an internship or a houseman-ship in the MBBS course. |

– How to Apply NHFDC Scholarship 2021-22:
A prescribed application form shall be submitted to the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC), Red Cross Bhawan, Sector-12, Faridabad, Haryana-121007 or PHD House, 4/2, 3rd Floor, Siri Institutional Area August Kranti Marg, New Delhi-110016 anytime during the academic year.
A soft copy of the application form should also be submitted through online from the NHFDC official website www.nhfdc.nic.in
