May it be remakes or original stories, Chiranjeevi made every film he acted in, his own. His 150th film — Khaidi No 150 — is based on Vijay’s “Kaththi“. However, the treatment of the theme (farmers’ suicide), the song situations (Kajal Agarwal, who was his son Ram Charan’s heroine in Magadheera, has been cast in Khaidi No. 150) and the fight sequences will be in true ‘Chiru style’. Chiranjeevi is clearly back to doing what he does best: rule the box-office like a boss.
Chiranjeevi has won both film awards and civilian honours in his career;and he was also the tourism minister in the Congress-led government in AP. The megastar, who celebrated his 60th birthday last year, has indeed come a long way for his 150th flick.
The film features Chiranjeevi in a dual role,Kajal Agarwal will be seen in the lead role and marks as the former‘s comeback to acting in his 150th film after 10 years. Under V V Vinayak’s direction, Khaidi No 150 is Chiranjeevi’s comeback and 150th film. It’s his first film after a hiatus of close to a decade.
Khaidi No 150’s grand pre-release process is underway. The film is slated to open on January 11 and team is expecting it to be a huge hit.
