I suffer with hemorrhoids. This is what helps me. Take a half or full dosage of stool softener a day. Take a half dosage of milk of magnesia a day. Before bowel movement take a Q-tip and put Vaseline, Neosporin and/or lidocaine spray on the hemorrhoid and wash with warm sitz bath while you pass the bowel movement. Then follow with a warm shower, preferably a bath with Epsom salt, and/or aloe in the bath. This helps with anal fissures as well. There are 2 procedures to correct it. Painful surgery.
