The granite rocks of the amphi-theater, have been specially selected to merge with the surrounding area. The landscaped waterfall, the garden, the terracotta, and metal sculptures, have added to the beauty of Durgam Cheruvu. The amphi-theater have been aptly named ‘The Crescent.’
Durgam Cheruvu is fully equipped with a kitchen, and the amphi-theater can accommodate a crowd of thirteen thousand. Various multi nationals choose this place as an ideal venue for their company outings, or ‘off sites.’ There are, also, limited accommodation facilities available at Durgam Cheruvu.
Durgam Cheruvu is within easy driving distance of Shiparamam. Shilparamam is the arts and handicrafts village and exhibition center. It is a shoppers’ paradise. You will find handicraft items, from all over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and India, being sold here. The prices are astoundingly affordable.
