How To Change Aadhar Card Details?
Recently, the supreme court announced that it is mandatory to link your PAN card with Aadhar Card. If there are errors or mistakes in your Aadhar card, you will not be able to link the PAN card to it. Therefore, it is important to keep your aadhar card up to date to avoid any inconvenience.
You can change your aadhar card details, both online and offline.
How can you change aadhar details online?
You have to visit the UIDAI website and chose from anyone from the given options :
•Update Aadhar online
• Visit Nearby Enrolment Center
- Step 1: Chose the ‘Update aadhar (online)’ option and then log in to the aadhar card online portal using your aadhar number.
- Step 2: Submit your Aadhar card change request online
- Step 3: Scan and Upload a soft copy of your aadhar for editing the details.
- Step 4: Once the request is submitted, you will get your aadhar card update request number which is used to track the status of your request.
How To Change Aadhar Card Details?
You shall visit the nearby aadhar enrolment service center along with the original documents. However, Original documents shall be scanned and returned before the changes are made. In conclusion, the changes are updated as per your request.
The fee for updating your aadhar card is 25 INR.
