Sanjeevaiah Park is one of the largest park located at necklace road. It is named after one of the Ex Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Damodaram Sanjivayya. It is built on an area of 92acres of land around the Hussain Sagar lake. This is considered as one of the best place to visit in Hyderabad.

This park has won Best Open Landscape Award during the 2010 Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage award presentations. The park also houses the second tallest Indian Flag. It is commonly used by adults, children, couples and many joggers. It is the most favourite place for joggers many people can be seen jogging in the morning.

Sanjeevaiah Park has many flora and fauna along with different species of birds, butterflies and plants. Many beautiful flowers can also be seen. About 100 species of resident and non-resident birds and more than 50 species of insects and butterflies are present in the park.

It also has various migratory birds. The pied crested cuckoo, which is considered as a harbinger of the monsoon rains due to the timing of its arrival, is frequently spotted at this park. The local birdwatchers predict rains 15–18 days after spotting this bird.

It also has a different section of birds park which is good for bird watchers and a rose garden for all the nature lovers. It will surely attract u with its natural beauty and rejuvenate you with its fresh air. It is a perfect place to sit and enjoy with family and friends.

Rose Garden: It is another major highlight of the park. With a wide variety of roses of different colors, breeds and sizes, the rose garden gives a colorful and spectacular look to the park. Besides the roses, you will also come across other gorgeous flowers and ornamental trees in the park.

Floral Clock: When you take a stroll in the park, you will come across the floral clock, which is also listed as one of the major attractions inside the park.

Rock Garden: Last but not the least, another prominent attraction of this park is the vast range of rocks of unique shapes and sizes which are found here. You can climb on them to get an excellent view of the park and for which it is also sometimes referred as the Rock garden.
Cycling is allowed inside the park the park also has a fountain and it is the best place to view sunrise and sunset during dusk and dawn. The park is adjacent to the MMTS railway station which is exactly in-front of park. It has an underground entrance which is quiet different from other parks.

Second Biggest Indian Flag:
The park has 2nd largest flag in India. The first chief minister of Telangana Mr.K Chandrashekar Rao hoisted this flag on Telangana formation day i.e on 2nd of june, 2016.
The flag is hoisted at a height of 88 meters and it measures 108 feet in width and 72 feet in height with weight of 65 kilograms.the telangana government has spend about 3 crores on this flag. This huge tricolour flag is a sight to behold.
