SERB OPDF program aim is to build a national capacity in the areas of Science & Engineering, which are of interest to India by offering post-doctoral fellowships for 1 year and extendable to 1 more year subject to your performance. Overseas postdoctoral fellowship scheme will open on December 22nd 2019.

Qualification: PhD in science and engineering from any recognized institute in India.

SERB Eligibility:

• Only for Indian nationals.
• One should complete his/her PhD in science and engineering from any recognized institute in India.
• Not be more than 35 years.

SERB Selection: The selection will be made among the students who are eligible for admission to the Post-doctoral program.
SERB Fellowship Amount: Equivalent to 3000 US dollar monthly, and one time Contingency allowances of Rs.60,000/­ for visa, airline ticket, insurance etc.
Fellowship Duration: One year or extendable based on the performance
