1) Birla Mandir
Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple built on Naubat Pahad in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda Of Ramakrishna Mission. Apart from the main Shrine, it also has Lord Venkateshwara, Padmavati and Andal housed in separate shrines.
2) Jagannath Temple
Location: Banjara Hills
The Jagannath Temple is a modern temple built by the Odia community which is dedicated to Hindu God Jagannath. Jagannath means Lord of Universe. It was constructed in 2009 in the center of the city. There are other shrines that are dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Shiva, Ganesh, Hanuman, and Navagrahas.
3) Hanuman Temples
Location: Redhills, Hyderabad.
Karmanghat Hanuman Temples is one of the most popular and oldest temples of Hyderabad. The deity of the temple is Lord Hanuman and the temple complex also houses other deities which are Lord Rama, Lord Shiva, Goddess Saraswathi, Goddess Durga, Goddess Santoshimata, Lord Venugopala Swamy, and Lord Jagannath.
4) Shyam Temple
This beautiful example of devotion houses Lord Shyam, the reincarnation of Lord Krishna. It has lots of tourists on the 11th and 12th days of the bright half of every month in the Hindu Calendar. It remains throughout the night and bhajans are organized thoroughly.
5) Kesari Hanuman Temple
Located on the banks of River Musi, Kesari Hanuman temple was built by Samarth Ramdas of Maharashtra, the guru of Maratha Ruler Shivaji.
6) Peddamma Temple
Location: Jubilee Hills
This temple is visited by thousands of devotees during the ‘Bonalu’ the most popular festival of Andhra and Telangana people. It is dedicated to the ‘Mothers of Mothers’ – Peddamma who is one of the 11 forms of Village deities.
7) Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple
Located at Jiyaguda, on the banks of Musi River and dedicated to the Hindu God, Lord Vishnu is one of the oldest temples in Hyderabad. It was built 400 years ago and is under the administration of Endowment of Telangana.
8) Sri Ujjaini Mahakali Temple
This 200-year-old temple which is dedicated to Hindu Goddess Mahankali was built in the 17th Century. This temple is mostly visited during the Bonalu festivities.
9) Sanghi Temple
Location: Ramoji Film City
This temple is dedicated to Hindu God, Lord Venkateshwara and is named after the family of Sanghis. This amazingly built temple which represents the South Indian Architecture is built on the Hill Top and is the house of many deities.
10) Ashtalakshmi Temple
Location: Vasavi colony
The temples are dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi as Asthalakshmi in all her eight forms. It is one of the two Asthalakshmi Temple located in India. The Temple was built in 1996 and still remains as one of the most visited temples of Hyderabad.
