Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities. The main objective this scheme is to provide scholarships to the eligible and meritorious students who belongs to the minority communities of weaker section to provide them financial assistance to complete their higher education.

This scholarship is awarded to study in India only in any Govt. or private school, college or university.

– Eligibility Criteria for PMS 2021-22:

1.	The scholarship will be given only to those candidates who have secured 50% marks.
2.	Whose parents annual income is not more than Rs.2.00 lakh from all sources.
3.	30 percent of scholarship will be reserved for women students.
4.	Scholarships will not be awarded more than 2 students in a same family.
5.	The scholarships will be discontinued if a candidate fails to secure minimum 50% marks.
6.	Scholarship will not be given for more than require time period to obtain Degree / M.Phil. Degree or Doctorate Degree.
7.	If a candidates violates scholarship terms and conditions, the scholarship shall be cancelled/ suspended.
8.	Candidates are not allowed to avail any other scholarship benefit from one source implemented by the State Govt for the same education.

Selection Procedure:
There is a fixed quota of scholarships for minority students. The preference shall be given to the students from below poverty line (BPL) families.
Duration:
Scholarship will be awarded for the entire course but the maintenance allowance will be provided 10 months only.
Scholarship Renewal:
Scholarship shall be renewed during the next academic session for the course on the basis of the certificate that the awardee has secured 50% marks or above.
Fee: Course/tuition and maintenance fee will be credited directly into to the bank account of a student.
