About Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar – S.R.Nagar
Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar also known as S.R.Nagar is predominantly a residential suburb in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is close to Ameerpet, a commercial suburb. It is named after the sixth President of India, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy.
The area is being a residential area has a good number of trees and good environment. S.R.Nagar almost joins with Sanathnagar, though it maintains a distinct culture. S.R.Nagar is a road junction connecting to the Bombay-Pune highway. Located here is the well known statue of Chadalavada Umesh Chandra, a famous police officer who lost his life here, gunned down in the street by Naxalite terrorists.
Known For
S.R.Nagar now popularly known for the Educational Institutions situated here. It has become the top most popular destination for the people of Hyderabad for their children’s education. May it be a schools or intermediate colleges S.R. Nagar has left many places behind for being on the top. It has the maximum number of colleges than any other locality of hyderabad. It also includes various municipal grounds and parks in the nearby locations.
